Our Ruby coffee comes from two farms owned by the Naimeg family; Pântano and Londrino in the Cerrado Mineiro region. The story behind the farms goes back to 1965 when Gerson Naimeg and his wife Hercilia Mafra started their first coffee farm in the norther Paraná Region. After the disastrous 1981 frosts [their farm was hit three times] the family moved to the Cerrado Mineiro region. Gerson and Hercilia’s six children are all involved in with the farms, continuing a legacy that started 50 years ago.
