PROFILE
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Edison Minohara
For Edison Minohara coffee is the continuation of a century of family history in coffee. It’s an amazing history, that began when his grandfather came from Japan to work on a coffee plantation. It wasn’t long before Edison’s grandfather had his own farm, starting the attention to detail that has become a trademark of Fazenda Nova Casa Branca. The coffee is processed at the Volcafe mill where it’s packed in recyclable Klabin 30kg paper bags and exported to us.
The farm is in the Cerrado Mineiro Region an area recognised worldwide for its quality of coffee. The area was the first “Designation of Origin” in Brazil. This is a guarantee of Origin and Quality by the Cerrado Mineiro Region Regulatory Board.
