About the producer
Lekempti Producers
This coffee is sourced for us by our Volcafe Ethiopia colleagues. The area, in the Wollega Region, is also known as Nekempti which the name of the main city in the area. The region has moderate temperatures year-round with an annual rainfall of just 88mm. As with most of Ethiopia, there are no formal farms or estates, coffee is grown in ‘gardens’ usually under shade trees and cultivated by local farmers who look after 150 – 200 trees.
