ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Juncalito Premium


This is grown by a selected group of farmers most of whom are second generation growers. Many have been through agricultural training on coffee and understand the factors under their control that directly affects the taste of the coffee. This means the ripe red cherries are handpicked then de-pulped the same day as being harvested. Parchment is sun dried for 5 – 7 days then stored for a minimum of 6 weeks to rest and settle.

Prior to shipping, the parchment is de-hulled, cleaned and sorted by size using a gravity table and electronic sorter. Final stage is a hand sorting prior to being bagged for export.
